| The Sogo and Kpanlogo are peg tightened drums from Ghana that are played in royal ceremonies. They are played by hand and sometimes with the use of a large curved or sharply bent stick. The Bukurabe resembles the djembe but has a long and narrow top. They are often played in groups of four in trance ceremonies. Home |
