| Replica Bronze Rain Drum |
| Bronze drums have been created throughout SE Asia for over 2000 years. On the rims of the drums are small piggy-back frog shapes (a feature that originally optimized tone harmonics). These are often called "rain drums" indicating the animistic power they were thought to have in influencing weather. These are currently in use in Indonesian temples and can be seen in Thai and Cambodian museums. Home |
